This is our most recent project. Four Gable Ones travelled from Geelong to the Pacific Islands by road and sea. We have a very happy client and a proud team at FormFlow.
It has been a challenging 18 months but we are excited to announce that we are ramping up production.
With our bending machines installed in a new space we will focus on providing cladding solutions for new and existing buildings, particularly in bushfire prone areas. Our C90 and C60 bend, combined with traditional corrugated cladding, provides an architectural, no gap cladding solution that reduces the potential for ember attack and will provide beautiful, cost effective, maintenance free protection for years to come. We now offer a complete design, supply and installation service to ensure you get the best possible outcome with our product.
In our modular buildings business we are exploring a partnership with a local builder who will build our designs using our building system from their factories in Geelong and potentially from other sites around Australia. Our first build is underway and progressing well. Maintaining a pipeline of work, managing large complex projects and a factory while also trying to develop new designs and innovative manufacturing methods is very challenging. Partnering will allow us to tackle all of these challenges together and focus on our respective strengths.
Over 18 months ago FormFlow, as part of a consortium lead by the Colac Otway Shire, applied for funding through the Federal Government Regional Precincts and Partnerships Program. The aim was to develop community designs for two sites to highlight the potential of modern methods of construction (MMC) to rapidly deliver high quality, affordable, adaptable and resilient housing solutions. This project is finally happening with contracts now signed and all partners gearing up to deliver on the plan we developed back in late 2023. The housing supply problem is more acute than ever. This is an exciting opportunity to focus on the development of new housing typologies designed for MMC. This will provide a blueprint that can be applied by builders all over Australia to fast-track housing supply, particularly in rural and regional areas. With volume and scale MMC can deliver significant productivity improvements. We have seen this in other countries and we hope this project will deliver a product that can be scaled so that we can achieve the same for Australia.
